Environmental directives

The methods used to extract the clay take into full account the guidelines set by environmental directives.
The Marazzi Group complies with EU HABITATS Directive 92/43/EEC and BIRDS Directive 79/409/EEC for quarrying operations located in the EEC, and the UN Convention on Biological Diversity aimed at protecting the landscape and local flora and fauna, for quarrying operations located outside the EEC.
